Canon Canada‘s EcoSense line of home and office printers is designed to give Canadians more eco-friendly choices to handle their printing needs. The additions include two imageCLASS laser printers (MF4270, MF4690), two PIXMA photo printers (iP3500, iP4500), five PIXMA all-in-one printers (MP210, MP470, MP520, MP610, MP970) and three PIXMA office all-in-one printers (MX300, MX310, MX700). Dashboard provides smarts
Centage Corp.. has introduced a business process management (BPM) solution specifically for the SMB market with Dashboards, which is compatible with virtually any existing business intelligence (BI) tool. The Budget Maestro Dashboard Kit gives Budget Maestro users instant access to financial and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) on their desktops. Budget Maestro is designed to help SMBs manage their budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting data. The kit was tailored for the SMB market in that: it leverages the popular Microsoft Excel 2007 for dashboard creation; users can keep their own business intelligence (BI) software, providing it can read a SQL database; and set-up time is minimal, according to Centage.
SMB printing plethora
Several new HP products for the SMB are now available. The HP Officejet Pro K8600 Printer delivers quick printing speeds and a low cost per page for A4/Letter size colour and black and white documents. The HP LaserJet P1005/P1006 Printer is HP’s smallest and most compact laser printer and features a patented monochrome spherical toner. It also ships with less packaging than previous products and is engineered to use less energy over an extended period of time. The HP LaserJet M2727 MFP (multifunction printer) provides SMBs with a reliable monochrome-printing workhorse to maximize productivity. Using the HP USB Network Print Adapter, a solution for home and small office professionals, customers can share a printer or multifunction printer with multiple PCs on their network. Finally, the HP Scanjet N7710 Document Sheet-feed Scanner also includes a 50-page automatic document feeder with an integrated slot for rigid or embossed business and ID cards.
