Google provided the first official look at the new Nexus 7 tablet today at the Google I/O conference.

Google talked up the Nexus 7’s media capabilities, saying that it’s a perfect device for books, magazines, music and movies available via the Google Play Store.

Integration with many of the new features of Android 4.1 Jellybean make the Nexus 7 a more helpful organizer than ever.

The screen, again

The display looks sharp and clear, at a glance.

Gaming

Along with its quad-core Tegra CPU, the Nexus 7 has a 12-core graphics processor, making it a muscular option for portable gaming.
