We’re taking our #FollowFriday practice beyond Twitter at ITBusiness.ca so we can tell you a little bit more about the people we’re adding to our Twitter lists (and tweeting them twice).
This week, we’re looking at a few tech marketing leaders that impress us with their Twitter talents and topical talking points.
Our #FollowFriday is for tech #marketing leaders @e_mah @markorgan @bretconkin learn more about them http://t.co/UXOplmABfa #ff

Elaine Mah, director for Canada, Intel Corp.
.@Intel study shows what #millennials want & don’t want. Hint: #tech should be more human [infographic] http://t.co/1s2smy82z4
— Elaine Mah (@e_mah) December 9, 2013
Mah has a consistent Twitter presence that is positive, engaging, and helpful. She clearly has a mastery over Twitter, engaging with both brand and individual accounts alike and joining in the conversation on topical hash tags. Mah shows she is really listening (or reading) the tweets of those she followers by answering questions they are asking or providing advice. She regularly shares interesting tech news, often related to how technology is impacting the Canadian economy, and always gives proper credit and attribution in her tweets. A veteran marketer, Mah will tell you about the evolution of the “4 Ps” and guide you to useful Intel research in infographic format. If that’s not enough reason to add her to your tech list on Twitter, she’s also on the board of directors at the Information Technology Association of Canada and a blogger for The Huffington Post.
Mark Organ, founder and CEO, Influitive
How to Build a Billion $ SaaS Category is STILL TRENDING on SlideShare for 10 hours! Let's set a record here http://t.co/7z0scibliU
— Mark Organ (@markorgan) December 13, 2013
The founder of Eloqua Corp. (recently acquired by Oracle Corp.) has been working on his new startup for several years now, another piece of software looking to help marketers do their jobs. Where Eloqua created the marketing automation category, Influitive is pushing advocacy as the next frontier for marketing. Organ launched Influitive’s Advocate Hub at Salesforce.com’s Dreamforce conference in 2012 and this year he went back to give a presentation on creating a billion dollar market category. Organ tweeted out his slideshare deck on that presentation this week and it’s been trending on the site every since, and has been viewed more than 4300 times already.
Bret Conkin, chief marketing officer, Fundrazr
Saskatchewan Adopts First True Crowdfunding Private Placement Exemption in Canada* http://t.co/eXMynylyJt Great summary fr @alixecormick
— Bret Conkin (@bretconkin) December 9, 2013
A member of our own Community Blogging program, Conkin’s Twitter stream is a mix of the latest Canadian startup news, crowdfunding trends, and charitable causes. As Canada’s provinces lurch towards equity crowdfunding in one form or another and the perks and rewards model becomes more entrenched in the startup eco-system, Conkin’s feed should be busy for 2014. Plus he’s not afraid to lend some advice to other marketers along the way.
