Bell Mobility and VNOC Virgin Mobile have announced the availability of ZTE’s newest tablet computer, the Grand X View, starting this week.
The tablet is an evolution of ZTE’s Grand X2 smartphone, launched earlier in September.
The eight-inch, 1080p full HD display on the tablet is powered by an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Google Android’s 5.0 Lollipop software.
Among other features:
- 2GB of RAM allows smooth multitasking and video and audio performance.
- The tablet has 16 GB of onboard storage and a MicroSD slot that accommodates 64GB more storage.
- A pair of 5MP cameras—one self-facing, one on the rear of the camera—with autofocus enable video and still photography as well as videoconferencing applications like Skype.
- A 4620 milliampere per hour battery boasts 200 hours of standby time. ZTE claims its quick-charge technology tops up the battery for emergency recharges.
The ZTE Grand X View tablet is available from Bell and Virgin Mobile for $240 outright or $10 per month on a two-year term.
