Re: The kids aren’t alright (Oct. 4)

Thank you for expressing out loud what myself and a few other parents that we know are saying concerning the current student’s “research” trend at our schools. It’s about time someone publicly voiced something on this.

One of my favourite courses at university was Critical Thinking. The professor escaped from Poland during the war, losing many of his family that didn’t. The course was his way of being locally involved in a global issue–and somehow trying to influence the odds that what he experienced would never occur again.

Again, thank you for expressing your thoughts on this in public.
