Diane Kazarian is the managing partner for the Greater Toronto area and National Financial Services Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) which includes Banking and Capital Markets, Asset Management, Insurance, Real Estate and Private Equity sectors in all lines of business (audit, tax and advisory). She is also PwC’s Global Financial Services Brand Leader.
With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Diane specializes in the banking sector in the development and monitoring of legal and reputational risk policies, procedures and processes, regulatory compliance and credit risk management processes. She has extensive experience of IFRS, US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
In 2013, she was a recipient of the Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards.
Diane has a BSc (Business Administration) from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island (Summa Cum Laude). She is a CA and CPA, and is fluent in Armenian. She speaks at a variety of client events, and teaches courses aimed at the directors’ community at the Rotman School of Management and frequently interacts with the press on emerging issues in Financial Services. Diane often speaks and is an active participant and advocate of Women in Leadership and Diversity and Inclusion. She is also on the Board of Bryant University and Kingsway College School.
