Industry association Startup Canada named nine B.C.-based entrepreneurs, businesses and support organizations as winners of its fifth annual Startup Canada Awards on Wednesday.
The winners of the organization’s B.C. regional awards, which celebrate outstanding achievements in British Columbia’s entrepreneurship and innovation community, were announced at a ceremony in Vancouver attended by leading Canadian investors, innovators, and executives.
“Congratulations to the 2018 winners of the Startup Canada Awards!” Startup Canada co-founder and CEO Victoria Lennox said in a May 30 statement. “These winners represent the very essence of entrepreneurship. We are proud to celebrate their success with Canadians and our partners around the world.”
