Actual Tools announces Actual Window Manager 4.4
Actual Tools announces the release of Actual Window Manager 4.4, a desktop enhancement suite featuring remote desktop/terminal services capabilities.
This version has introduced an “Automatically keep windows layout” mode, in which Actual Window Manager will track the changes of the desktop size and automatically adjust the size and position of all currently open windows.
The “Restrict placement” option prevents windows from jumping out of the visible area of the desktop. Once the option is enabled, users can set up a frame on the desktop, within which windows will be placed. Inside the frame, windows can be freely moved and resized, but Actual Window Manager will track the changes in the size and position of windows and won’t let windows go beyond the specified frame area. If a window goes out of the set area on opening, it’ll get taken to it automatically.
Actual Window Manager 4.4 offers users a “Relocate split windows” option to automatically detect such windows and move them to the specified place on the desktop.
Actual Window Manager 4.4 runs on all Windows platforms and costs US$59.95 for a single-user licence.
