Blue Pacific Software launches Rich Chart Live
Blue Pacific Software announced the release of Rich Chart Live, an online service which creates charts with visuals and interactivity. Rich Chart Live can be used directly from any Web browser that has a Flash player. Chart data can be imported from any spreadsheet, while the animated charts can be exported as a Flash animation or as a PowerPoint presentation.
Charts created in Rich Chart Live have all the common column, bar, area, line, pie and doughnut charts types available for use. Rich Chart Live imports chart data from most common spreadsheets.

SAP offers enhancements to SAP Solution Manager
SAP AG announced enhancements to its application management platform, SAP Solution Manager, offering customers processes and tools for managing their SAP systems. In addition to improving service processes for existing installations, the enhancement help manage application management infrastructure to help customers as they migrate to enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA).
Available free of charge for customers of SAP, SAP Solution Manager serves as a dashboard that enables companies to increase software reliability and enhance technical support for all aspects of their deployments. Providing tools, integrated content, services and best practices from SAP, this centralized platform helps users implement, operate and monitor applications.
Available in January of 2007, the product will be the primary source for maintenance updates, which can still be delivered over the SAP Service Marketplace in parallel.
Microsoft releases beta versions of Exchange Server 2007 and Forefront Security for Exchange Server
Microsoft Corp. announced the availability of the public betas of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Forefront Security for Exchange Server. Exchange Server 2007 promises improved security, remote and mobile access, compliance management and unified messaging. Forefront Security for Exchange Server helps provide advanced protection against viruses, worms and spam.
Exchange Server 2007 beta 2 is available for download here, and Forefront Security for Exchange Server beta can be downloaded from here. General availability for Exchange Server 2007 and Forefront Security for Exchange Server is scheduled for late 2006 or early 2007.
