Boston Software Systems releases scripting product
Boston Software Systems announced that its scripting product, Boston WorkStation, has successfully connected to MEDITECH beta versions 5.6 and 6.0.
The MEDITECH versions have redesigned screens and field locations, making any previously written scripts unusable. They also lack the application programming interfaces (APIs) found in previous versions of MEDITECH systems.
Other MEDITECH beta sites that are testing Boston WorkStation include Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisburg, VA and West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA. Boston WorkStation has proven to connect, log in and navigate menus within the new MEDITECH 5.6 and 6.0 versions at these sites.
Vertical Acceleration lands advanced engineering contracts
Vertical Acceleration announces that its subsidiary and technology platform, Ones & Zeros Technologies, Inc. has entered into several contracts with companies, including US Modular and TouchTable.
TouchTable develops multi-touch sensor monitors used to create dynamic visualization and collaboration solutions. Their products, which function as both presentation and input devices, assist in the visualization, navigation and analysis of data. The monitors can incorporate real-time data feeds as well as a large number of data layers for satellite, terrain, and 3/D overlays to improve speed and accuracy in tactical operations and planning.
US Modular is a designer and manufacturer of custom, small form factor memory, storage and power solutions for use in such markets as semiconductor, defense, aerospace, and industrial computing. Moreover, the company has the capability to conduct industrial temperature screening, which proves indispensable in the development of the company’s ruggedized hard drives.
