Toronto-area IT professionals looking to organize their server rooms and hide their cabling will have one more vendor to choose from, as Chatsworth Products Inc. (CPI) opened a sales office in Vaughn, Ont on May 15.
The Westlake Village, Calif.-based IT infrastructure equipment manufacturer will also be showcasing its products in the 3,800-square-foot space. It’s not just another showroom for CPI, but also the first Canadian sales office. The firm previously only sold into Canada through its U.S.-based offices.
The show floor will display products designed to keep servers cool. The products will be installed as if they are being put to use in a data centre, including a raised floor, and mesh cable trays and runways. CPI’s Aisle Containment Solution is designed to manage airflow to whisk hot air away from active computers.
The employee-owned firm opened its first international office of the year in Shanghai, China back in February. CPI also has sales offices in London, Dubai, and Mexico City.
CPI is preparing a series of seminars on data centre power and cooling efficiency across Canada. The events will take place in Toronto on June 5, Ottawa on June 7, and Calgary on June 12.
