Corsair launches Flash Voyager GT USB drives
Corsair launched the Flash Voyager GT line of USB drives. The Flash Voyager GT USB drives deliver sustained read/write performance up to 34MB/sec and 28MB/sec respectively. The GT features enhanced dual channel and interleave memory technologies. Flash Voyager GT features:

Each Flash Voyager GT features hand-selected NAND flash that together with an advanced controller delivers file transfer up to 5X faster than typical USB drives.
Each Flash Voyager is readied with a security application that allows users to create a hidden, password-protected partition on the USB drive. The password is encrypted with 256bit AES encryption.
The Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB drives are available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities and are available immediately through Corsair’s authorized distributors, resellers, retailers and e-tailers worldwide. MGR announces ET41150 industrial terminal with touch screen
MGR Industries announces the APC Technology ET41150 sealed industrial terminal with 10.4” touch-screen. The ET41150 is impervious to dust, airborne particulates and liquids. Its face is sealed to IP65. The touch screen can be used with or without a glove and is in projective through-glass touch-screen technology.
The ET41150 was designed, form, fit and function, as a drop-in replacement for the 3M Dynapro ET3170. It provides operators with a user-friendly, highly accurate touch-screen for interface with host computers using ANSI-based control code protocols.

SAP delivers regulatory compliance capabilities
SAP outlined the continuing customer successes and ongoing product innovations. The conference features keynotes, plenary sessions and product demos that address major trends and business topics impacting utilities industry, including compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the changing business models and roles of utility enterprises.
The event features demos of applications in the product pipeline, including enhancements in SAP’s customer relationship and billing software tailored to the distinct needs of utilities retailers, slated for market launch in 2007. Furthermore, SAP is demonstrating applications for advanced meter infrastructure (AMI), which paves the way for energy products and demand-response programs. AMI-enabling services and technology are planned for availability with the second enhancement package for mySAP ERP.
SAP will launch a Web client-based customer interaction centre for its CRM and billing software. This functionality will simplify call centre process for both deregulated retailers and regulated full-service utilities.
