Dell Inc. isn’t just pushing its new Ultrabooks, it’s sending them into flight.
The computer maker is launching a “try and fly” program givingpassengers on select WestJet flights between Torontoand Calgary thechance to get hands-on with Dell’s new XPS 13 Ultrabook. Flyers can usethe super thin laptops for free during the flights, including 30 hoursof pre-loaded content such as new movies and music from EMI.
“With the try and fly program taking place in two of Canada’s busiestairports, we’re giving consumers a hands-on opportunity to use Dell’slatest systems for work, to engage with social media contacts, and toaccess entertaining content,” said Phil Bryant, vice-president andgeneral manager of Dell’s North American consumer division, in a newsrelease..

Travellers can also give the Ultrabooks a test run beforeboardingtheir plane. The laptops will be available for free use at special “tryand fly” areas in the passenger lounges at Toronto’s PearsonInternational Airport and Calgary International Airport.
