MicroScanner2 Cable Verifier reduces test time and user errors by displaying four key test results on one screen
Fluke Networks Canada announced the introduction of the MicroScanner2 Cable Verifier.
This cable tester shows installers the four most important test results – cable length, wire map, cable ID and distance to break or short – as visual representations on a single screen.
The MicroScanner2 also recognizes and displays what types of services are available at the outlet being tested, such 10/100/1000 Ethernet, POTS telephone service or Power over Ethernet (PoE).
Users of the MicroScanner2 can verify and ID tag RJ11, RJ45, and coax cables without adapters. MicroScanner2 is also a built-in tone generator, producing both analog and digital tones compatible with Fluke Networks’ IntelliTone Pro Probe. This permits precise identification of specific wire pairs and cables on active networks.
MicroScanner2 is available for immediate delivery from Fluke Networks sales partners worldwide. The MicroScanner2 is available as a stand-alone unit, or as part of a professional test kit. The kit contains a MicroScanner2, an IntelliTone Pro 200 Probe, six Cable ID termination devices with both for RJ45 and coax connectors, a breakout cable for with eight clips for testing unterminated cable, RJ11, RJ45 and coax patch cords and a deluxe carrying case.

Cimmetry Systems announced the immediate availability of Cimmetry’s Integration Software Development Kit (SDK). The Integration SDK provides AutoVue end users and Cimmetry ISV partners with a comprehensive framework to integrate AutoVue viewing and collaboration capabilities, respectively, into any internally developed or commercial Document Management (DMS), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Cimmetry’s Integration SDK delivers end-users with the tools and documentation for corporate developers to add AutoVue’s multi-format, native document viewing, markup and collaboration capabilities to the DMS/PLM/ERP systems they have developed.
