Dr. Ann Cavoukian, one the leading privacy experts in Canada and the world, is Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.  She also serves as the Chair of the Identity, Privacy and Security Institute at the University of Toronto and is a member of the Future of Privacy Advisory Board. Cavoukian’s concept of Privacy by Design has been adopted worldwide a standard method of effectively building in privacy in products and services.

Ashley Huffman is a marketing and public relations and sell-confessed geek and tech startup evangelist. She heads up the marketing efforts for ChickTech, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating cool and exciting tech events for girls and women, and INcubes an innovative startup incubator based in Toronto.

Barry Gander has more than 25 years of experience as a public policy and communications expert. He specializes in advanced technology, and the public impact of the changes that innovation and change create. Gander has produced compelling business development and advocacy programs for some of the world’s “smartest” organizations. His blog focuses on the area of auto technology.

Clare Kumar is a Toronto-based professional organizer and home stager. She has coached numerous small businesses and corporate clients on how to improve the workplace layout to improve productivity and minimize workplace strain and stress. She is an expert blogger on topics such as work-life balance and workplace ergonomics.

 

Claudiu Popa is a Toronto-based security and information management expert and founder of Informatica Corporation.  He is an ardent supporter of information security and privacy awareness, as well as a frequent speaker on the topic. Popa writes on privacy and security issues, new security products and trends.

Francis Moran is principal of Francis Moran & Associates, a consultancy that provides business-to-business technology ventures with the strategic counsel required to make their innovations successful in a highly competitive marketplace.

Gadjo Sevilla is a Toronto-based writer who reports on technology and writes reviews on consumer and business gadgets.

Kye Husbands and Yale Holder are co-founder of MyCellMyTerms, a site dedicated to helping consumers and businesses obtain the best mobile plans for their needs and budget. Husbands and Holder write reviews on new mobile products and comment on various mobile-industry issues.

Monica Goyal is a Toronto-based lawyer and a technology entrepreneur who founded My Legal Briefcase, an online legal service firm focused on small claims court cases. Goyal writes on legal issues affecting startups and entrepreneurs as well as various developments in the startup community.

Paul Wood is an Intelligence Senior Analyst at the MessageLabs’ of Symantec Hosted Services. Woods provides insights, analysis and advice on how to protect yourself and your business against the latest Trojans, botnets and other security threats.
