Communications & Networking

Firewalls, anti-virus software, intrusion detection and virtual private networking tools are all basic components of a corporation’s network security setup. Should IT departments purchase these products separately, or should they look for “”all-in-one”” security offerings that combine these components? Fin d out what the experts have to say in the April issue of Communications & Networking magazine. This issue also includes two case studies – one on video conferencing and the other on storage-area networks – and a Focus on Power over Ethernet technology, which allows the delivery of data traffic and electrical power over RJ-45 cables. Communications & Networking, Canada’s magazine for voice and data networking, also includes coverage from several recent trade shows, a major telecom carrier merger in central Canada and 14 new products
