Provance Technologies has added a “pay-as-you-go” option that allows customers to use its software for a monthly fee with no minimum term commitment.
Provance provides software that helps organizations manage relationships with consumers of the IT services they deliver. In particular, successful IT business relationship management is critical for two types of organizations: providers of managed or outsourced IT and telecom services, and corporate IT organizations that have adopted a shared services delivery model. With the new option, Provance customers can now allocate the cost of the solution as a small recurring operational expense rather than a major one-time capital investment.
SMB storage
A new set of Ethernet packet processor solutions optimized for the small and medium-business (SMB) market, the Prestera 98DX249 and 98DX269 SecureSmartStackable family of products, is available from Marvell. Some of the applications demanded by the SMB market include: VoIP, WiFi-enabled VoIP, IP collaboration tools, network storage, mobility for wireless devices, security and business continuity. Marvell’s Prestera SMB portfolio enables the convergence of all applications into a single platform. These devices provide hardware-based stacking in three configurable speeds: 2Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps.
Easing into managed services
