Sage North America has struck up a number of partnerships with Canadian organizations, including Moneris Solutions Inc., a payment processor, Canada Post, and MasterCard Canada.
The company has also announced it’s working with Women in Biz Network and Mompreneur, two groups dedicated to promoting women as entrepreneurs, and on a smaller scale, it will be working with Manulife, Toshiba, Visa, and American Express Canada.
Sage, which provides business management software to small to midsized businesses (SMBs), made the announcements during its summit in Las Vegas this week. It has been working on building out these partnerships for the last six months, the company said in a press release.
Sage announced it will be working with Moneris to build an integrated payment solution by giving Canadian SMBs the ability to link their Sage accounting processes with Moneris’ debit and credit card processing. That should help businesses simplify their payments as they’ll all be contained within one platform.
The company will also be working with Canada Post’s VentureOne program, as well as MasterCard Canada’s Easy Savings program. The partnerships will see the Sage 50 Accounting-Canadian Edition and the Sage One Accounting-Canadian Edition become available to Canada Post VentureOne and MasterCard Easy Savings members.
For Women in Biz Network and Mompreneur, Sage will be giving them thought leadership content and will support women in entrepreneurship through social and digital media.
“Sage has a strong Canadian heritage and has been supporting small and medium-sized businesses for more than 30 years,” said Nancy Harris, Sage North America’s senior vice-president and general manager for Canada, in a statement.
“Through our strategic partnerships with some of the country’s leading brands, we are working together to provide product and service offerings and drive business conversations that will further support Canadian businesses so they can focus on growth and thrive now and into the future.”
