British users of Score Media Inc.’s soccer app can now bet on live UK matches with the touch of a button.
The Toronto firm has struck a partnership with William Hill, Britain’sbest known betting agency, allowing ScoreMobile FC app users to placebets on the games using iPhone or BlackBerry smartphones via theirwilliamhill.com accounts. The service will also be available soon forWindows phones.
The app already gives up-to-date scores on over 100 soccer leaguesaround the globe. The new betting service is only available to users ofthe app who are based in the UK.
Score Media has broadened its business from being just a sportsbroadcaster to developing a string of successful apps. Its ScoreMobileFC, ScoreMobile and SportsTap apps receive over 3.5 million uniquevisitors combined each month.
