SMBLive has unveiled a suite of simple software solutions designed to meet the needs of small business customers who are increasingly using the Web to find, try, and buy on-demand applications.SMBLive’s products consist of a suite of on-demand solutions built on the Microsoft SharePoint Platform that are designed to improve and simplify that platform’s user interface, navigational experience and functionality. Using SMBWorks, small business users can easily administer intranets and extranets, manage documents and discussions, and coordinate projects without the expense or commitment of corporate IT. With SMBApps, small business customers have immediate access to fast and affordable business applications for managing sales, marketing, customer service, finance and HR processes.

Damaged file finder
O&O DiskRecovery V4.0, a data recovery tool from O&O Software GmbH, can now recognize and recover more than 350 different file types. It also offers a built-in preview function for image and text files that lets users examine their files before they recover them. DiskRecovery can rescue data even when directory and structural information have been damaged or deleted. The software finds damaged files and attempts to reconstruct them in a valid file format. A variety of professional-grade scan methods are available. With O&O DeepScan users get the maximum scan resolution, which detects even the smallest of files. O&O SmartScan will ignore existing files, allowing the scan to pick up and recover only deleted files. Alternatively, the O&O RawScan method scans without any regard to the currently installed file system — a good way to find lost data on a repartitioned hard disk.

Small Business PRO is an intuitive and customizable accounting program that simplifies key business tasks, incorporating general ledger, accounts payable and receivable and bill paying as well as other tools, such as customer relations management, financial reporting, sales forecasting, business plan creation and inventory management.
