As if plumbing the depths of the ocean in the mega blockbuster movieTitanicwasn’t enough, Canadianfilmmaker James Cameron is now looking toouter space for his next venture. Various reports say he may be launching a startup dubbedPlanetary Resources Inc. to mine asteroids. Seriously. Andto top itall off, his partner in the venture is Google co-founder Larry Page.Details for the startup will be unveiled Tuesday during a newsconference featuring two NASA astronauts.

New owner for NextMontreal
The NextMontreal blogsite has a new owner. Founder Ben Yoskovitz hassold the site to BrentBarrett, who plans to add more video content tothe site, Yoskovitz wrote on the blog today. Yoskovitz launchedNextMontreal in August 2010 to highlight the comings and goings ofMontreal’s tech startup scene.
