Clarity opens up network

It was only in January that Moncton-born serial entrepreneur Dan Martel unveiled Clarity.fm, a business advice network which uses the phone to connect budding entrepreneurs with big name business experts.

Martel strongly believes people have distanced themselves from each other through technology such as email and Skype. “When I look at all the great advice I’ve gotten over the years, 99 per cent of it was over the phone. You don’t have those types of conversations over e-mail or tweets,” he said.

Clarity.fm was previously in beta mode and customers based in New Brunswick could officially access the service through the company site. But yesterday, Martel said “we’re slowly opening up Clarity to the world.”
