Targus delivers USB VoIP phones accessories
Targus Inc. announced the launch of the USB Notebook Mouse Internet Phone and USB Internet Phone with Keypad. Targus Canada also announced the launch of the Flexible Mobile Keyboard.
The Flexible Mobile Keyboard weighs 9.9 oz. and is compatible with Windows Vista or Windows 2000 and XP. The keyboard can be cleaned with water, alcohol or disinfectants. The design also ensures silent typing and can be rolled up and packed into a bag, backpack or suitcase. Suggested retail price is $29.99.
USB Notebook Mouse Internet Phone works as both a notebook mouse and a USB phone and is compatible with MSN, Yahoo, Google, Skype and Vonage. The USB Notebook Mouse Internet Phone has a mouse mode and phone mode. In mouse mode, it works like a standard three-button USB optical mouse. When the phone rings, the phone mode is automatically activated. Press the answer key and pick up the mouse/phone or press the scroller wheel to activate the speakerphone.
This integrated USB phone comes with a built-in microphone, speakerphone, headphone jack and a built-in independent sound chip with volume control that offers full duplex sound technology. Suggested retail price is $49.99.
USB Internet Phone with Keypad includes a microphone, volume control and a built-in sound chip. This is a combination of an Internet phone and a compact keypad. Compatible with VoIP services such as Skype and Vonage, the USB Internet Phone with Keypad can also be used as a compact keypad to input numerical data and execute commands such as page up or down, delete, insert, number lock, etc. Suggested retail price is $59.99.
Clarity Systems provides online customer self service portal
Clarity Systems announced the availability of Clarity Customer Care – an online customer self service portal designed to help customers maximize the value of their corporate performance management investment.
The portal streamlines the case management process, enabling users to log, update and track their support cases while retrieving information from and contributing information to the Clarity Systems knowledge base. The self service portal provides users with a reference centre for training documents, product information, installation and administration manuals, and configuration checklists.
The system integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, Clarity’s customer relationship management (CRM) and case management tool. By leveraging salesforce.com’s technology, the customer portal operates as a full-time, online customer support and information delivery centre. ComBrio announces enhanced VSI with extended message
ComBrio Inc. announced an Extended Message Delivery monitoring module to its Virtual Service Infrastructure (VSI) software product.
In addition to VSI’s existing proactive monitoring capabilities, the enhanced VSI offers information on remote devices through its protocol agnostic ability to collect status and alert information in a device’s native format. VSI with Extended Message Delivery has leveraged existing or embedded autonomous alert/status information capabilities and then deliver this data remotely to appropriate back-end management tools or collection application.
