High Road Communications

MC2-Microids, a video game company with offices in Paris and a development studio in Montreal, has chosen High Road as its public relations agency of record for North America.

First established as a game developer in 1985 in Europe, Microids now develops,

publishes and distributes games in North America and recently merged with MC2 to create a new entity, MC2-Microids.


 

GCI Group

Meanwhile Courtney Aziz, who worked on the Dell Canada account, said she has left the firm to take a position as communications officer at the University of Toronto’s Innovations Foundation.


 

Sacke & Associates

CableServ Inc. a provider of amplifier upgrade products/services and RF solutions for the cable television industry, has appointed the firm as its agency of record.


 

Communications Mecca

BenQ Canada said it had hired the firm as its PR agency of record, promoting the BenQ brand in Canada. BenQ, formerly known as Acer Peripherals, has a product line that includes digital displays, scanners, keyboards and digital projects. Communications Mecca has also been the PR agency for Brother International.

 

National Public Relations

3Com Canada’s media relations is now handled out of its Marlborough, Mass.-based head office and no longer uses National PR. Anthony Petrucci, 3Com Corp.’s PR manager, told ITBusiness.ca the company likes National PR, but is consolidating its Canadian and Latin American operations.
