Spymac releases Web design solution Drag-n-Drop Site Creator
Spymac released Drag-n-Drop Site Creator, which lets Mac users create Websites and blogs.

Drag-n-Drop Site Creator lets users with a Mac publish online. The online software service allows users to build Web sites and blogs using a browser to drag and drop content in to. The technology is AJAX-based and is fully compatible with Apple’s Safari Web browser.

Users can choose from custom templates for Web site page designs that can be modified to suit their needs. Elements in the Web site can be dragged around and positioned as desired, all from within the Web browser. Some templates available include pages designed for business, weddings, photo albums and artists and school groups.

Drag-n-drop Site Creator is part of Spymac Club, available for US$25 per year.

SAS launches analytics solution
SAS announced that it is now shipping SAS Revenue Assurance for Telecommunications, which enables communications service providers to better manage revenue streams and minimize revenue leakage.

The product allows telecommunications service providers to minimize process inefficiencies and maximize revenue by applying data integration, analytics, storage and business intelligence capabilities. The knowledge component helps telcos identify and stop revenue leaks caused by business-process issues and technical issues. The roles-based interfaces cater to specific skill levels to provide intelligence in the right business context, minimizing the time-to-decision on a number of levels throughout the enterprise.

Arbinet releases PeeringSolutionsSM Service
Arbinet-thexchange Inc. launched PeeringSolutions, a managed VoIP peering service, which enables VoIP service providers to manage and share access to VoIP-accessible phone numbers with trusted partners. Users can establish direct peering relationships and exchange VoIP traffic with a range of service providers. Service providers can also obtain a full termination service enabling them to reach fixed-line destinations through this same single interconnect.

PeeringSolutions is a registrar of the SPIDER Registry, an industry-managed registry for sharing VoIP-accessible phone numbers and routing information, which allows PeeringSolutions members to load and update its accessible telephone numbers and administer the sharing of those records with its selected partners. To simplify the maintenance of up-to-date records, Arbinet is working with switching and VoIP application providers to electronically bond those systems into PeeringSolutions so that every local change to add a new customer is automatically reflected in the SPIDER records.

Symantec releases update to security offering for Microsoft ISA Server 2004
Symantec Corp. announced the availability of Symantec Web Security 5.0 for Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004, which offers virus and spyware protection and URL filtering for Web (HTTP) traffic served through an ISA Server.

Symantec Web Security 5.0 for Microsoft ISA Server 2004 detects and blocks spyware and adware and other non-viral security risks at the earliest point of entry while preventing and removing costly Web-borne viral threats. Designed for SMBs, the product provides URL filtering by using a URL-filtering database and Dynamic Document Review technology, which can block Web pages and sites not currently categorized. URL filtering allows organizations to limit-internet usage to business-related activities.

Symantec Web Security 5.0 for Microsoft ISA Server 2004 is available through Symantec’s authorized resellers, distributors and systems integrators.
