A self-serve advertising platform produced by Toronto-based Shiny Ads is getting added exposure courtesy of PubMatic, a U.S. startup that has raised over $60 million in venture capital.
Shiny Ads makes an integrated solution that automates various parts ofthe premium advertising procedure, including ad buying, campaignlifecycle management, payment and billing. Now the platform has beenadded to PubLink, PubMatic’s enterprise app marketplace.
Big VC haul
New York-based PubMatic was founded in 2006. It makes a digital media platform forpublishers, including its clients MarthaStewart Living Omnimedia and Hearst, the publisher of Elle, Seventeen,Cosmopolitanand Good Housekeepingmagazines. In June, PubMatic secureda deal with U.S. VCs worth $45 million, a follow-up to the $18 millionit raised through its original VC investors.
PubMatic launched PubLink earlier this year as a one-stop shop for appsaimed at helping publishers manage, measure and monetize theiradvertising inventory. PubMatic will start offering the Shiny Adsplatform to its customers in mid-August.
