Toshiba launches three new tablets

In a cheeky news release launching three new tablets times to coincide with Valentine’s Day, Toshiba declares that “size matters – so why not give your Valentine what they want?”

The racy release continues, “Don’t come up short in more than one department this year. Instead, think about a sizeable offering that your partner can brag about to their friends.”

By which, of course, Toshiba means one of its three new Excite tablets. Available in three sizes – 7.7”, 10” and 13” – the new tablets run Android 4.0 Ice Cream OS.

The Excite 7.7 is priced at $399.99 for the 15GB model, $449.99 for the 43GB and $549.99 for the 64GB, with a vivid AMOLED display.
