Two Montreal-based Microsoft partners are joining forces, with the announcement this week of the acquisition of AlphaMosaïk by Negotium Technologies.
The combined entity, which will carry forward under the Negotium brand with both executive teans, will now have nearly 200 employees and offices in Montreal, Sacramento, New York, and Paris and, according to the company, will become Quebec’s leader in midmarket and large enterprise technology solutions.
“This transaction is in keeping with the ongoing trend in the IT industry towards consolidation; the most competitive and successful companies are growing and offering increasingly complete and integrated services both domestically and abroad. Moreover, this move is part of our growth strategy; we are expecting to triple our revenues to reach our target of $100M in annual revenues by 2016,” said Negotium president André Poirier, in a statement.
According to the statement, Negotium and AlphaMosaïk offer complementary services, and as a combined entity will be able to offer clients integrated solutions in key areas such as improving business processes, connexity, collaboration, infrastructure and business model evolution.
“From the outset, it was clear to us at both companies that there is natural fit between our respective cultures. We are convinced that this merger will allow our employees to continue developing their expertise in a familiar and stimulating environment, and that the company’s new strategic position will help them to further develop their careers,” added Alain Cloutier, president of AlphaMosaïk, in a statement.
Financial terms of the transaction were not released.
