Uniblue brings interactivity to Process Library
Uniblue has launched Process Scanner, which searches for and identifies all the processes running on the user’s PC. The deep scan is free and brings interactivity to processlibrary.com, supplying a list of running processes, .dlls and other items running at present or in other instances. The list provides information on the task functions of each item, colour-coded information on the threat risk, and advises the user on the type of action to be taken. The user can also share the list with others as it is saved on the server, or they can click to create a log which generates a CSV file.
The process list is checked against all known processes, and an alert is raised when any unrecognized variants or processes not covered by the library are found. Uniblue’s proprietary RePLACE technology matches the PC’s data list with existing entries, constantly updating the library. Using the internal checking system, the Uniblue Lab’s team of specialists edits the existing data.

Cortado delivers fax service for BlackBerry
Cortado has announced that BlackBerry users can book a service that lets them send e-mails, attachments and other documents, straight from the BlackBerry menu to a fax machine for US$9.98 a month, including telephone charges.
BlackBerry users can turn their handheld into a mobile office with fax functionality for a monthly fee, by signing up for Cortado. ThinPrint, a BlackBerry Alliance Partner, delivers the Cortado service via an online booking at http://www.cortado.com/blackberry. The service adds value for BlackBerry users by allowing e-mails, attachments, and other documents to be sent to a fax machine for printout while on the go. The cost of sending the fax is also included in the monthly fee. Cortado supports printing in the original format without page limits, as well as Office formats, PDF, images in jpg or tif format, as well as locally saved information. All that is required is registration and download of the client software. Once the software is loaded to the BlackBerry handheld, a fax option is automatically added to the menu of all Blackberry applications. Fax numbers can be chosen directly from the address book, and the online Cortado service takes care of sending the actual fax, eliminating user waiting time.
The Cortado services for BlackBerry can be booked at http://www.cortado.com/blackberry.
Interested parties can test the service for one month for free.
