Tech Data Canada, Hewlett-Packard Canada, NEC Canada and Symantec Canada have are once again on board sponsoring the newly revamped Channel Elite Awards (CEA).
Computer Dealer News will showcase the best solutions and the best solution providers the Canadian IT industry has to offer at the CEA.
This year, to optimize the strengths of the channel, CEA will reward the teams behind the great solutions in enterprise, SMB and e-commerce. In the past, a panel of judges honoured the achievements of individual IT channel professionals. While this method was successful in recognizing innovators such as Carlos Paz Solidan of Tenet Computer Group and David MacDonald of SoftChoice, it did not always represent all the facets that go into a business problem-solving solution.
The 2005 CEA awards will be presented to the most creative solution providers in Canada last year. Solutions must have been completed by December 31, 2004.Solution providers can submit nominations in the following categories:
o
Solution Provider of the Year
Best Enterprise Solution
Best SMB Solution
Best Service Organization
Best E-Solution
System Builder of the Year
Best Channel Marketing Initiative
Channel professionals, vendors and distributors have until June 30 to nominate solution providers they believe deserves recognition for a job well done. An independent panel of judges will review the nominees and select the winners in each category. Who is eligible to win? Any IT channel organization operating in Canada, including resellers, system integrators, IT consultants and service companies. While vendors, customers and distributors can’t be nominated for the CEA, they are welcome to nominate individuals.
