Google unveiled two netbooks running on its Chrome OS at its I/O conference yesterday. But the sneak peek was brief, with the crowd only seeing images of the notebooks from Samsung and Acer.

To get a better idea of what to expect from these Chrome-based laptops, just look back to December 2010. That’s when Google launched its Cr-48 netbook, the first computer showcasing its Chrome OS. We can expect models from Samsung and Acer will be more or less the same approach.
