Toronto, ON: According to Stats Canada, the Canadian economy expanded by 34,500 jobs in January 2020 after adding 27,300 the previous month — beating market expectations by 15,000. Amid these strong economic indicators, the International Talent Acquisition Centre (In-TAC) is preparing to put on another one of its successful online career fairs.
In-TAC’s 8th National Virtual Career Expo (VCE8) takes place on April 28 and 29, and will provide skilled Canadians and newcomers alike with opportunities to find challenging and well-paid positions in the digital economy. VCE8 is an opportunity for employers to access a diverse talent pool across Canada and internationally.
Job seekers will find opportunities galore — 1,800 positions offered by 50 top employers — at Canada’s largest online talent attraction fair. Over 10,000 job seekers from Canada and more than 100 countries are expected to attend.
VCE participants will be able to live-chat with hiring employers, expand their professional network, access opportunities in smaller cities, and discover alternative career options.
Representatives of various sector councils, occupational educators, and settlement service providers will be on hand at VCE8 to provide information regarding career trends, alternative career options, and supporting programs and resources.
