Igloo to work closely with Canadian channel professionals to help shape the
future of channel sales in Canada
Kitchener-Waterloo, ON – Dec. 13, 2018 — Igloo Software, the leading provider of digital workplace solutions, announces Igloo’s Director of Partners, Laura Brick, has joined the board of directors of the Canadian Channel Chiefs Council (C4). Igloo’s insights and expertise as a digital workplace solutions leader, combined with its innovative channel expansion strategy will complement the Council’s body of knowledge, best practices, and expertise in Canadian channel strategy.
A critical component for most high growth companies, the channel is experiencing a fundamental shift as more businesses look toward cloud-based digital transformation strategies. Recently named one of North America’s fastest growing companies by Deloitte, Igloo Software’s addition to C4’s board provides an opportunity to help shape the future of the channel from a recognized leader in the Canadian tech community. Additionally, Laura Brick’s leadership and experience in leading channel strategy at a cloud-based business makes her a strong fit for the role, and she will seek to bring on new members through her and Igloo’s relationships in Canada’s channel.
Helping evolve the landscape
Joining “At Igloo, giving back and supporting the community we’re part of is important,” said Brick. “Joining the C4 board enables Igloo to continue delivering on that mission, and provides C4 members insights from a successful company with a presence in over 80 countries. Being selected to the board of C4 is an honor – I look forward to joining the front lines in helping navigate the evolving channel landscape.”
With more than 18 years of industry experience, Brick will represent the next generation of cloud-based vendors as C4 continues to support channel professionals and develop channel best practices. Her work at the council will focus on contributions to the education and development of channel professionals through C4’s current programs and initiatives.
The council seeks to facilitate the alignment of information and communications technology vendor goals to those of the overall solution provider community, provide mentoring and networking opportunities, and promote collaborative social exchanges among other initiatives.
Valuable Insight
“We are thrilled to have Laura Brick from Igloo Software join the Canadian Channel Chiefs Council,” said Corinne Sharp, President Canadian Channel Chiefs Council. “Adding a small, but growing, SaaS provider to our team of channel leaders was very important to our council.
