Insight Canada Lands at #7 on CDN Top 100 Solution Providers

TEMPE, Ariz., May 20, 2019 – Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT), the global systems integrator of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ for organizations of all sizes, today announced its Canadian operations have moved up two spots to No. 7 on the Channel Daily News (CDN) Top 100 Solution Providers list, based on 2018 revenues. Overall, the economic impact of Canada’s top 100 solution providers is approaching the $10 billion dollar mark, according to the CDN study released April 24.

In 2018, Insight Canada’s revenue rose above $400 million for the first time. The growth stemmed from an expanding portfolio of Intelligent Technology Solutions™  in the areas of Supply Chain Optimization, Connected Workforce, Cloud + Data Center Transformation and Digital Innovation. This included expanding managed services across multiple operating systems to help businesses enable greater employee choice.

Insight also has developed a one-stop source of solutions for small businesses, helping clients develop customized IT strategies, architect, implement and manage them to suit their everyday needs while transforming the business.

“In today’s data-driven business climate, where intelligent use of modern technology builds loyalty among workers and customers, the majority of IT decision-makers are increasingly embracing bundled products and managed services,” said John Dathan, senior vice president and general manager, Insight Canada. “As we’ve expanded our offerings and continue to evolve into a comprehensive systems integrator, we feel well positioned to address our clients’ greatest needs now and well into the future.”

Over the last year, Insight helped several clients maximize the value of IT by refining procurement practices, product lifecycle services, software asset management and cloud solutions. This includes the following success stories:

  •  Thanks to outstanding delivery of Supply Chain Optimization services for a retirement living and long-term care services organization, Insight was awarded a five-year, $20 million project to supply and install a healthcare technologies partner’s real-time location services solution – including wearable technology, an innovative emergency call system, community reporting and analytics, cloud-based resident care plans, wander management and fall detection – within all the client’s senior-living communities.
  •  Just three months after moving all of its hardware needs to Insight, a global leader in real estate services also awarded Insight its entire IT infrastructure business.
  • An integrated technologies systems and services provider for global transportation and defense industries awarded the company a contract for infrastructure hardware services, including servers and switches. Insight integrated these products in its Montreal-based distribution and integration center labs, saving the client significant time and money, and prompting the client to engage Insight for our professional services offerings for structured cabling requirements.
