Winnipeg – New company based in Winnipeg and offering service across Canada, ourCIO, created to fill significant skills gap for small and medium businesses.
Kent Smith and Paul Beaudry have partnered to form ourCIO to provide skilled senior IT leader services to small and medium businesses, non-profits and other organizations who require IT strategy and direction but cannot justify a full-time employee on the payroll.
“We saw a real lack of senior IT leadership in small organizations” said Kent Smith, Managing Partner and Principal vCIO at ourCIO. “We’ve created a budget friendly model which we hope the small and midsize market will take full advantage of.”
ourCIO’s offering is time-sharing and cost-sharing a community of skilled technology leaders.
“Large organization already have CIOs, VP’s of IT etc, but what about smaller organizations, why can’t they fully leverage IT as well?” said Paul Beaudry, Managing Partner and Principal vCIO at ourCIO.
As ourCIO grows they will add additional CIO resources as required to help all small and medium sized organizations utilize technology effectively.
