For some smartphone users, there are no two sweeter words than “BlackBerry keyboard”. If you’re one of those people, then we’ve got news for you – the BlackBerry KeyOne is all about the keyboard.
This week on All Hands on Tech, Brian Jackson took a first look at the new BlackBerry KeyOne. Remember, this is a TCL Communication phone that has licensed the BlackBerry brand as the Waterloo-based company is completely out of the hardware business.
Much like the DTEK devices, the KeyOne is an Android phone with some BlackBerry twists. This candybar design features a 4.5-inch touch screen above a Smart Keyboard. The frame is aluminum and there’s a soft-grip texture backing, but the real attraction is the keyboard. If you’re an old-school BlackBerry user, you’ll really want to check out the KeyOne.
The BlackBerry KeyOne will become available May 18, shipping May 31 here in Canada for $199 on a two-year contract.
Last week on All Hands on Tech, we reviewed the Jabra Evolve 65 headset. If you’re looking to upgrade your call centre with the latest headset technology, you’ll want to take a look at what Paolo Del Nibletto is calling the “ideal headset for business.”
